Just been down to York and its snowing and sticking on the road around the approach to the A1 but the further North we went the clearer it got. No snow at all in Catterick Garrison

Well, it's a nice seasonal scene, Vlad... By the time I left the pub last night, nearly all the snow around my neck of the woods had disappeared. Which is an indication of what time I left the pub.

Beautifully sunny all day. Not a flake of snow and barely a puff of breeze, cold though. Glad to have had a day mostly indoors

Beautiful blue sky and wall-to-wall sunshine - but bitter cold.
Had to de-ice the car this morning and then do it all over again after it'd been parked just a couple of hours. Now need to go out again, suppose it'll need it another time!

No snow here in Durham but bloody cold and loads of black ice.
So I've cleaned the car instead of playing on two wheels.
Kinda think that was a bloody stupid idea in retrospect because I suspect the drive is now going to turn into an ice sheet.
