'More or Less' (one of the best programmes broadcast) on Radio 4 posed that very question to some very smart people who know......
To summarise; Pfizer didn't include this in their Phase 3 trials. Oxford did and found that about half of people vaccinated could pass the virus on (whilst protected against it themselves).
This will no doubt drive government policy on letting folk out and the degree to which we can mix.
