I remember where this old church is now - it's in Friargate, at the end of the Ashbourne Road Mile Pubcrawl...now there's a thought...

Think I just sent you a wink karey instead of a reply, gosh how I wish the lens hadn't fell out my glasses, yeah you may get to meet onslow and for anyone camping it makes a lovely wind break just ask my bike club mates, bless them I parked it up in a huge field, went to a wedding came back and was surrounded by tents wasn't I puds, lol they thought as it was so old it was just in storage there and so used it as a wind break.

It's a definite no from me now. It was never particularly likely, financially speaking, but now my Dad's going in for yet another attempt at rehab in the spinal injuries unit... from 8th to 24th December, so all my spare time will be spent ferrying friends & family back & forth across London and playing with the oh so happy Xmas shopping drivers. So have a good'un for me. :o)

Ohh Lou...thats a shame, but at least your Dad is getting the treatment he needs. Wudda been good to catch up wiv u agen. Us mucky norverners will havta meet up dahn sahf sumtime.. at least your Dad is getting the treatment he needs. How I wish that were true... However... Once again, they're refusing to provide ambulance transportation for him... therefore he'll have to travel in a sitting position... therefore, the skin will split again on his pressure sore and they will be unable to do any rehab with him, so he'll spend the time in hospital confined to bed... Deja vu... Here we go again! Tell you what people - if anyone in your family ever suffers a spinal injury, dig your heels in right from day 1 and INSIST on immediate transfer to an SIU... do NOT accept anything else. If he hadn't been forgotten about when they dumped him in a stroke unit, he might've had some timely rehab, instead of having to repeat this flippin' pantomime every few months! *laughs in a slightly hysterical manner* P.S. You're alright Kaz - I'm off the booze til Christmas ;o) Drink what you like!
