Anyone else acknowledge another biker even if you are just walking past each other in a shopping centre, etc?

I nod, wave and all sorts from my car... and provide assistance with additional hand gestures if required, for volvo/van ignorance moments ;o)

Glad to see the 'wink' now a 'nod'. I'm the same as TC, if I see a copper on a bike then I'll plod-nod and usually get the same in return. I guess the only thing I don't do is mod-nod's at those poor unfortunates on their mobile hairdryers. I must admit I was tempted to nod a biker at a service station one day (out in the car), but refrained in case I made a complete tit (just a partial one at the moment) out of myself .

its a wave over here in Europe. It's also hard to give hand gestures to Volvo drivers when overtaking them on the motorway cos ur right hand is on ur throttle and u overtake them on their left. And Im always nodding at folks from the car, then realise im not on the bike lol

I do a lifesaver look when I change lanes, when I'm pushing the trolley round the supermarket
