Hy Teecee, great to hear you had a good time with the scooter girls and guys and even more important your bike started first time! that could have been embarassing.......got me wondering if they are still on there way home from Scarborough last weekend?

Sweet...noooooooooooooooo lol
Lol @ Peter and XK, behave!
I know of a lass that came over from France and was on her way up to Scotland on a Vespa or Lamby, not sure which. She had a some luggage on the back and a bag on the footplate, gawd knows how long it took her, but my friends were talking to her at the services up near the Scottish Border. Good for her.
Give em a break, scooter riders are people too ya know, even carry spare wheel on the back, could have done with that a few times, lol. Admitted, castol R would make em much nicer to ride behind, why I love goin to scramble races, Ahhh, lovely smell.
What gets my goat is the 50cc bikes taking there baffles out, can hear there doin full stick from 3 miles away, poss even touchin on the 28mph, lol. That constant tone in the air, reminds me of when I used to put a peice of cardboard in the spokes of my pushbike with a clothes pegg, .
xkl love that last comment........tears in my eyes, Newkid re the cardboared in spokes they still do don't they, and yes I agree that is what gets the scooter boys a bad name, no baffles or even no silencer at all on machines barely over 50cc screamin' its nuts off do barely 30MPH what a racket....nearly as bad as those guys in small saloons with there RAP music flat out with full base aghhhhh now that drives me mad......
Peter
After our previous chat on oil I decided to put half a cupful of Castrol R in my fuel tank, it makes no difference to performance but OH THAT SMELL!!......you can still get the oil now called Castrol R SAE40 from any racing outlet price is around £8-10 per litre........a lot cheaper than Channel No 5
