I'd love to have a mid life crisis if only I could think of one to have, sports cars, extreme sports, bikes, boats etc been there done that. Never tried the junior bimbo bit but it strikes me there are two issues there, firstly acquiring one and more importantly what the hell do you talk about inbetween?

I get depressed enough at work with a bunch of kids who don't recognise Python references to try it socially as well.

Oooh you beat me there Scary... One of my ex's ran off with a woman 24 years older than me...

Mind you... she did run a strip joint... so it's just possible that the attraction was he thought it was going to be beer and women on tap for the rest of his life

She put up with him for 6 months

And the ladies is 42.6.

Conclusion? -

emzed and I have way too much time on our hands.

Nope... I reckon the conclusion should be that this site doesn't carry that stereotypical vibe of men seeking younger "perfect" models... and that's one of the reasons we all like it here

Now if we could just get shot of the "casual", the "no strings attached" and the "attached but unhappy" element, we'd be even more chuffed... If we were into that sort of scene we'd join boredhousewives&thedesperatewithnoshame dot com.

*wonders how many will google that?*

The fact that there are still so many women aged 42.6 on this site surely tells us something.

well personally speaking, I am quite content on my own, I have no need of a "partner" that is far too permanent! I like my own space in my double bed ( not with a fat hairy sweaty snoring monster that keeps you awake all night!) lol !oh and does other unsavoury things !!! I do not need a sperm doner, i've had my children and I do not need to be financially provided for so wot else can a man do for me pray tell? conversation, companionship I have in friends and family, strikes me, men need women more than women need men!

I most certainly did Em!

I made the classic mistake of thinking I could change him, after he got heavily involved in the club scene and turned into an alcoholic junkie... She was welcome to him by the time he naffed off! I was barely seeing him by that point... It had become tiresome, having to bodyguard him when he was off his face on drink & drugs...

Didn't stop all his mates begging me to "rescue" him from his fate worse than death when they met the delightful companion he left me for though!

Aye, right! I'm merely daft, not terminally stupid! Honest

Tells me that I'm a fussy mare, does that help?

( not with a fat hairy sweaty snoring monster that keeps you awake all night!)

I am that monster... Which may be a contributory factor in reaching my grand old age of 29 *ahem* and still being single!
