I have actually seen footage of what the DSA are considering for the new "Part 1; Off Road Skills" test in 2013.
It involves riding amongst cones, swerve tests, weaving tests and simulated junction work. It looks a lot more complicated than the current Part 1!!
The truly crazy part is that there will be the option for all pupils to take the test at the same time, which is what is being practised here;

WOW Geoff that was blooming brilliant..wouldn't mind having a go!!!! Gosh can you imagine a load of UK test candidates trying to do that...OMG..the ones I saw practising the other day would unnerve me terribly!! Just LURVE it when they put on their sirens too!
