who are we as a species to decide what other species has a right to occupy this planet with us??? spiders were probably here before us anyway so perhaps THEY have more right to decide WE dont belong here?

I think the most humane solution is to show a continuous stream of Eastenders, Coronation Street, Home & Away, etc and the spider will move away from sheer boredom.
I'm a spider then, I don't do tv maybe I should just not renew the tv license, tho the kids would not forgive me - no more dancing on ice, big sister.....

Ian my bro flies vomit and poo on our food, this is a good thing for us, it is a fact that if there were no flies there wouldnt be a human race as we need their secreations to survive.
Small spiders are o.k, but BIG spiders just scare me witless, so much so that when I was a kid I hyperventilated when one made me jump and I fell down in a dead faint!!! When I look at one I literally feel sick I think it's cos they have so many legs
i wiv you on this spider issue LC, I went up to the loo the other day and there lookin at me from the side of the loo was the hugest spider ive ever seen, it had a big fat body and huge long legs, and im sorry to say to rose and any other spider lover , that the spider is no more.
I have put no spider signs up around my house but they dont take any notice so may try RK's suggestion of putting conkers around the house and see if that works
I like spiders and wouldnt kill it, its his dangly web I dont like. I dont do much telly but when I do I would like to watch the programme but find I am missing it as I am fascinated by the spider web.
I have tried all suggestions except the soaps maybe I should use soaps to deter(gent) them. (Groan I have been mixing with Catta too long!!!) Sorry folks LOL.

It,s elongating day by day and blowing in the heat wafting in the warm breeze emited by the TV. Yesterday it was about 2" long today about 3" the spider I think has legged it hope he dont pop hid head round whilst watching something really scarey. I got my man coming tomorrow perhaps he will sort it! I think it would hypnotise me if i watched it long enough. I know I keep feeling sleepyyyyy zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Unfortunately for moon, webs don't dissolve and there'd be a serious risk of electrocution whilst pouring water down the back of the TV, almost as dangerous as LC's flame thrower I'd say
