I would say nearly every time i go out, but that would be illegal wouldn't it So no never.. I only ever ride within the speed and my limits on the road.
So only on ermm the continent honestly....
Had my old R6 at 182mph on the clock which is well out obviously, so realistically 165mph I 'spose
i have managed to do 95.. i was going down a hill tho lol and i was also trying to catch my dad up, who often finds it amusing to show me what my bike can actually do when its not restricted !
i have on my blackbird....but it was way way too easy and to be honest thats what made me get another cruiser......plus the fact of suddenly when riding at that speed my kids were in my mind and how devastated they would be losing there dad ......so it stopped me riding like a inconsiderate speed freak !!!
192 on tuned R1 last year motorway with 186 with a pillion on road to east coast dunt think speedo's are accurate at all at this speed but still f**ckin fast got to top out the ZX10 yet but does over 170 in fith so maybe beat the R1 lmao
Had a 8.5ton Daf 95 tractor unit up to 85mph on a major motorway, the limiter went! Thats bloody scary being 12ft up in the air! lol. And so is 165+ mph on a bike, not doing that again!
Hey ace, i think we can let you have that for a little while tell you one thing thou, there a huge difference between how it feels in a car and how it feels on a bike!
Best of luck with your test's!
cheers 2wheely
160-odd down the straight at Snetterton on a GSXR 1100 felt rather boring, combination of it being a faired sportsbike and a racetrack I guess... On the other hand an indicated 145 on my V-Max somewhere entirely inappropriate was utterly bonkers scary, what with the monstrous wind blast and weaving and all.
My first time above the magical 150mph was on my GPZ900R back in 1985. Indicated 165 on the clocks. Awesome. Later on I had my old Thundercat 600 up to 150 on a nice stretch of A road a few years ago. But lately i've had 165 (on the clocks), on me old mans beemer , on a closed road of course officer Lol
