Image looks like something out of a dodgy soft rock video and not sure the people in it are representative of our site, other than the image, I think the rest of the ad is good.
Matt just had a look at pics availon your link and there isn't much choice with black back ground is there..... think you have best of bad bunch ....shame they cant be coloured background
As for wording .... just a suggestion here ..... instead of saying friendliest social website for bikers ...... how about friendly social website for bikers by bikers
Thanks Janet for being the first to look.
Lets stop talking about using BM photos now, it was an old idea that ive realised wont work. Unless we had time and money to hire a photo studio and photographer, which we dont.
This advert in Bike mag alone has already taken me 2 grand overdrawn so I'm not spending anything else except 20 quid maybe to use a professional photo.
I'll remove the second reference about Events, don't need anyone else to pick up on that.
Any the next person to criticise the photo I used should find or create a better one. We can all point out what's crap, but there's not much better! It's eye catching and it works. The design is simple.
ok ok, here goes.

I prefer the second photo, but also think a group photo, of any bikers, would be better, after all events is what we do (well most of us lol)
The word FREE is misleading and gets folk's backs up once they realise it aint, even tho the fee is very low. Not criticising just pointing out.
I too feel the "over 100 events each month" suggests we arrange that many. However, I can understand the reason for the wording. That said I've been counting events and this month there are 48 events in total and next month around mid-twenties. If you count the total number of events listed per day then it is over 100, but many are events that last for three days or so, rallies etc.
As such, I feel it would be more accurate if it read "Events held virtually every weekend" or similar.
Also (and I know this may be too late and may not be the consensus), but I really like the photo that Clarissa found of the shot of the spoked bike wheel ... very classy I thought.
