Hi Bill, I could be up for this. Just make sure there is a pub handy wherever we stay. I don't mind the odd off road goat track either!

RE:Just had a client in this morning who came back from Cornwall yesterday after touring for a week on his VFR. He said the roads were crap with grass growing out of the middle, no room for overtaking and he'd never had his back wheel step out so much on bends with all the gravel! To top it off it poured down all week and he said he'd never take his bike down there again Think i'll be giving this one a miss I work/ live in Cornwall most of the time, the roads are not like that, if you venture on to C class roads or tracks then yes it is abissmal but for the life of me why you would want to go down one of those high wall sided high hedged windy blind corners every 25 metres with blind summits along with I don't know...... Most of the A roads and B roads are fine, the main travelled routes are good and the A30 dual carraigeway from Exeter is a good fast road, there are a couple of choke points but on a bike if thats stops you well maybe you should be in a car lol From experience July is poor weather/ early Aug as well best time really is late May /June. I'm on leave in August so not sure......North coast is good and seems to get better weather than South coast but it is beautiful and if you find the right places to go for a ride out its fantastic......Tingantel/ Port William for a few
