What's wrong with your hand R C? I hope the injection works. ------------- Today I went to my sister's, she invited me for my dinner (tea) as a birthday treat, I ate too much and now I feel like an overstuffed cushion, I look like one too While I was at my mum's I picked up a couple of cards and pressies and my sis gave me a bunch of flowers. The sun even shined this afternoon, so not a bad day at all.

happy birthday kwak yippeee rc have you carpel tunnel in your wrist its supposed to be very painful hope it gets better Today i got up, came out of hiding from last week, fed the dog, fed the cat, the kids fed themselves. then I came on here, mooched a bit sent a wink, checked my email and am meeting a friend for coffee, sent off some posters/leaflets for my hypnotherapy stuff and thought about putting some of my doors back on as they are gonna be stripped, (cant do therapy in a room without a door) By the response to my new leaflets etc at the piper last night I am gonna have some clients and claw my way out of having no money yippeeeeeeeeee. This has cheered me up. Found out some friends split up which is sad because they were a nice couple... So its been a fairly cative start to the day. Can I do this thread twice if i come back on later lmao because its only morning still!!! I may even get my website sorted.

Ooo you are a clumsy mare R C Aww I hope you get it sorted out and it's pain-free soon. ------------- Today I went to have a sight test, not due one for 9mths but I'm having to use my old reading glasses when I want to read a magazine, or read for longer than a few minutes; I have varifocal lenses in my new glasses but it gives me eye strain and a headache to read with them. Optician said it was unlikely it was my eyes and that it was probably me not using the glasses properly. He was WRONG!! I had em tested and my eyes have changed. This company is specsavers, 'specsavages' cos they mucked up a prescription I had before, they made it too strong and I was going dizzy and having headaches all the time. So, altho I now know that I do need a new prescription, I have 2 niggles, will they get the next prescription correct or muck it up again? and the cost; it's goin to cost me £88 just to have new lenses put in my own frame. Looks like I'm goina end up blind as a bat cos I can't afford 88p never mind £88. I'm curious as to why there's a charge for a sight test (if you are working, or in my case..unemployed but not due a sight test and if my eye test proved I DIDN'T need a new prescription) yet there's no charge for a hearing test?? I'm hard of hearing and have been all my life so I'm used to it, and would probably cope ok if I went deaf altogether, but I'd not cope at all if I lost my sight. Why does the government pay towards lenses but NOT the frames? Bloody silly idea, ya can't walk around holding the lenses to your eyes, a frame is a MUST And to top off my disappointing morning I lost my silver bracelet, a friend gave me it for my 40th birthday, I only took it off twice in 9 years. I don't have a clue where it dropped off so no point trying to look for it. Whinge over lol

Kwak i agree with you about Specsavers, they dont !!! they tried THREE times to get my correct prescription and still failed, £198.00 for one pair!!!! went back to my usual Optitions, and they cost me £99.00 and i can see through them now. Oh another thing, it is not posiible to `strain your eys` what happens is they receive information and transmit it to the brain (inverted) then the brain tells you what you are seing, the pain you get is from your brain not your eyes, Eye Tests now this is a bone of contention, i am lucky (sic) if you want, i do not have to pay for my test, due to really back eye sight, but my mother does, and she is a pensioner and registered disabled !! Bloody stupid if you as me. on a good point i have spent all day at a lap dance venue fixing the lighting, before any one says owt, there was me one of my other engineers the cleaner and the duty manager !!!! PML Mr Shaggy oh well I've no hope then, if it's me BRAIN that's in charge of me eyes I should look like Clarence, the cross-eyed lion on Daktari (very old telly programme) Do they do a free BRAIN test? to see where it's gone to in my case ROFL I bet you wished you work nites?

Went and got a new front tyre for the BMW. Fitted, balanced, the lot - then the garage tells me they don't accept plastic!!! I'm sure they used to, but I had to make a dash for the cash machine. Tempted to say they've lost a customer but the alternatives are further away. Still annoyed tho' Ended up refitting the front wheel in the rain in fading light. I've got better things to do than this, honerstly.
