I, of all people, don't want to jinx this, but apparently it's REALLY windy in Cornwall at the moment (well nr Newquay anyway) which is only 10-15 miles from where we're camping I think lol (JP, make sure you pack those humungo pegs!)

That's good, because if it's windy now, then there's less likelihood of it being 'a little breezy' when we're there!
It can blow all it likes till a week tomorrow
Then we'd like sun and maybe a nice warm southerly 5mph breeze.
Not putting my bikini on otherwise pmsl!

I can confirm it is very windy in Cornwall, and very cold too but the weather changes very quickly here. Is it alright to come along just for one night?

Genuine question. I am very confused as to just how far the site is away from Perranporth and the Devils Frying Pan. I know that I mentioned this very early on in this thread, but I want to plan stuff to do whilst there. The web site claims to be only 2.5 miles away from Perranporth......can someone please confirm this or not for me. Thank you

BL - i just had a nosey around on google maps, the site is actually on the bend 45 degrees right and above where it says 'blue hills' on the map. Route plan from there to perranporth says 2.3 miles. 30 miles to the devil's frying pan at cadgwith.
11.8 miles to fistral beach in newquay if you fancy donning a wetsuit for the day and watching an overweight biker try the new craze of 'surfdrowning' lol!!
