I have and still would. It's only since BM that I have decided to ride in groups occasionally. To be honest I find riding in a pack more demanding, as consideration has to be given to other riders in the group. You know some faster than others and trying to keep all together. Riding alone I change my route at the drop of a hat, for what ever reason takes my fancy.
I've got two bikes neither of which are runners at this time.
Yamaha V-MAX ignition failure
Yamaha TR1 Restoration
Tinker with your bike/s or get someone else to do it ?
Comfy seat, Goes like the clappers (full power model, V boost), Handles like a pig, Fuel consumption on a good day 30 MPG. But it makes me smile when i ride it . Think they look good too. Love it.
What do you run?
Taken bit of a fancy to a Triumph, not sure what to go for yet
Also Yamaha MT-01 floats my boat
Love the styling of the updated Norton Commando
The list goes on.
Your XV250s is the smaller version of my TR1 1000 V Twin.
What do you hanker after???
Was thinking of BMW R1200 as I am an old man it should be ok lol. Ideally I want a comfortable tourer for long distances. Trouble is they are a bit boring. So I keep looking at so many others, Vmax for one.

I notice that at the traffic lights! It's a bit too low for me but ok around London.
What would be you ideal bike journey of a lifetime?
Trans Canada Highway coast to coast up through the Rockies which has spectacular scenery as well as good roads only done a quarter of it from Vancouver to Banff and had the surprise element of unwittingly crossing a time zone
