i dont need lectures about people who are hard of hearing, as i said my best friend clare is totally deaf so i know the struggle she has to cope with, i have to make calls for her for things like car repairs, engineers required for jobs etc......so i fully know about people with hearing difficulties...sorry to be blunt but this is getting out of hand when i didnt even say anything about hard of hearing people

Yeah yeah yeah Ian. You wish you were Compo

In an effort to spread the pennies I have, I decided to leave all this week's washing until last night/this morning, having only enough liquitab thingies for 2 washes. 1 light, 1 dark. Sorted.

So would you PLEASE turn the ruddy rain off!

How the hell is it all going to dry by the time I have to head out this afternoon for this weekend's show? GGGgggggrrrrrr!!!

Oh good grief no! That would mean having to vacuum the thing! Can't vacuum... I have a fortune's worth of beads, crystals and bits of silver scattered around the carpet... can't possibly vacuum!

Just checked the long range two week forecast on Metcheck and it's forecasting the next two weeks to be wall to wall rain. Nice to see summer has started in earnest this year! *can only hope the weathermen have got it wrong - wouldn't be the first time would it?*

I'm afraid the people you work for are suffering from an over inflated sense of their own importance Shell. In order to try and justify their position/continued importance and their own continued employment they are convinced that senior management will be impressed by their constant re-appraisals and new initiatives. They would do well to head the old ships engineers adage of : "if it aint broke don't fix it" But in the mistaken belief that they must be seen to be "doin something" they insist on messin about with "modus operandi" and calling meetings and generally upsetting both staff and customers. Its a good thing I'm no longer in senior management, I'd sack the lot of them and recruit off the street, might find a body or two with some common sense.
