my message was to everyone because its easy sometomes to get the wrong end of the stick when someone says something lol and i think everyones opinions seems to be making sure we all safe really so happy days ahead for us all lol :) i will shut up now lmao
Riding bikes is predominantly a male passtime. 99% of my friends are male because of this. The ladies I've ridden so far with scare me to be honest. They are tentative, nervous, and unpredictable. Another reason I want to meet more lady riders - they've gotta be better than the ones I've met so far!!! I had my biggest compliment from more than one member of another biking forum - I was told I ride like a man. I always want to learn more and ride longer and harder.
Thanx for the compliment Tangoman. I understand where you're coming from. I've found that so long as the ground rules are set before meeting someone I don't have a problem. I am married, I'm not looking for anything other than mates to ride with. Temptation... don't we all get that everyday? I work in a male industry. If I were to want to 'stray' I have ample chance everyday and wouldn't need to come looking on the net.
I'm down at the Ace tonight. If you're around I'll buy you a coffee and introduce you to my lovely husband you can't miss me. I'm the loud one in the red cammo draggin jeans on the blue XJR.
i was like, properlely stalked for years man...this woman kept following me about, asking where i was going, offering to do all my chores, washing, cooking and such..it really freaked me out let me tell ya...it was only by chance conversation with my sister that i realised she's me mum...cool..

sorry about the missing words b_B i have promised to try harder with that and to keep it short and the typos lol drives my sister nuts roflao
bs do you go to the piper and can yer mum sort my gaff out lol?
hi cassie
You're not on your own there. I have attracted some proper weirdos lately. And the one person I did actually decide to meet, twice, had serious personal baggage issues to contend with and another problem i'd rather not discuss right now. LOL
I am very very weary about meeting up now. ha ha
I've decided that I will only ever meet up in a group now and it will be as a group of friends. I am sure there are many happy couples out there who have started a relationship on the internet, but it really isn't for me.
I have heard too many scarey stories :) and I am amazed that so many men are actually bunny boilers lol .... sexist comment I know, but in my experience true.
Since this started I've been getting comments about a married woman being on this site. Am I wrong in thinking that this is a 'Social Site'? Do the other people on here who state on their profiles that they're married/co-habiting/in a relationship get the same sort of negative remarks said to them or is it just that because I've been highlighted that I'm an easy target?
Sure nobody meant to target you Molly, just when one person airs their feelings it kinda gets the ball rolling.I'm sure nobody meant any comments to be taken as personal to you, just generally.
You and me are cool TM. I was just wondering if others get the same remarks. I'm big enough and ugly enough to stand my own corner. Think I'll add a pic of my gorgeous hubby in my profile. That may help
I think the beauty of a site like this is it has such an eclectic mixture of people all of whom have their own thoughts and opinions. The common denominator is the fact that we all love bikes and want to socialise more, which can't be knocked at all.
