well I bought a tent last year online from nevis sport for 20 quid which did me all year and never leaked. I went a bit mad and bought a gelert sleep pod sleeping bag mainly coz I hate sleeping bags and this one at least allowed me to turn over inside it :)oh and an airbed coz im owd and a bit of a wuss! lol

and I also use throw overs and bin bags and bungees...what did we do before bungees? lol

An airbed is essential! And a torch.

Best thing I brought was a self inflating sleeping mat get one as thick as you can lovly to sleep on far better than an air bed

How did you blow up the air beds??

you can get an adaptoer that plugs into your bike battery omnf chick or someone else will probably have one also would just say that a blanket over airbed keeps it farr cosier as airbeds dont hold any heat as such ..... if you get me... put sleeping bag on top of blanket then you be suprised what yuo can fit on bike you may not need a backpack... i put tent, double airbed, doubel sleeping bag, my bag with stuff for weekend bt dont take much and that is it away ya go ... i aint got any panniers or anthing just a rack for rallies etc so long as tent width is not wider than ya bars width ya will be fine if taking cookin stove etc then paniers is good for that...

I put my tent across the pillion seat Then a bag of clothes on top of that and then my sleeping bag on top. Makes a nice backrest

I have a backpacking airbed. 6 air tubes, each takes about three breaths to blow up, packs down to sod all. And if one tube goes down I still get a good nights kip. Cost about £15.
Try amazon or a good camping shop.
I'm not a fan of wearing a rucksack on a bike, much better idea to bungee it across the back seat with your tent.

I use one of these airbeds - easy to fasten on the bike too!

yeah kwakgirl that was what i thought coz teh last 3 airbeds ive had ended up wi darn holes somewhere and i wondered if its coz i jus put it flat on me rack wi stuff on top bungee blah blah... bt that one looks like its madeof thicker stuff tooo may have to go take a look at some proper places me thinketh- plus its in that case which looks good too.. does it go back in easy? and is it fairly wide as i like to stretch me legs about a bit ... no mummy style sleepin bags fer me!!!

If u shop around ul get one for 50 and used it 15 times last year with no punctures so reckon its good value even at 50 quid
