Abington services seems like a good bet Dizzy. I'll be wanting another coffee by then and it's right easy to find.
Dustin will no doubt be along shortly to give his thoughts.

Here is my pic of Nessie from last year.

Does this mean I can have a free beer?

Hiya Lyn, happy to meet at Abington (11:00 ish) or Morrisons Dumbarton (12:00 ish).
It's probably only an hour and a half from your house to Morrisons Du. Going via Ab. it's about three hours to Du.
So that's the choice , an extra hour on the road with your mates or ,,,,, an extra hour in bed lol
see you soon Dusty x

I think I'm at FA till Friday then to Inverness to meet up with the rest.
Chances are we'll be banned from FA by then

Although as the weather can be quiet different at different ends of the loch it's not set in stone.

And to prove the point about the weather.

Up there last October we woke up in FA to thick fog, the lady in the shop said is was fine at the other end.
About a mile out of FA we got above the mist, looked back and saw this...

Pretty cool huh?

go over the knobbly bit and dive into the fog and you'll land in FA.
OK you might need a running jump...

It's taken a short walk from the road along the soutlh of loch ness.

Great photos Steve , if I 'pop mi clogs' en route. Throw me on the barbie and scatter my ashes in sight of that view . (touch wood ) .
With the expected high temperatures I'd love to stand naked in that cooling mist and show the locals MY Loch Ness monster . Lol

So Dustin, you do still practice ritual cannibalism of the deceased over in Carlisle.

Well as you all seem interested in the piccie I will try and be a bit more lucid than I was last night (not difficult).
The photo is from Suidhe Chuimein, the wet bit in the foreground is Loch Tarff and the sticky up knobbly bit is (I think) Murligan Hill.
