It's usually the main field (behind the caravans) on the slightly raised middle area about 100 yards in. I'm sure there will be plenty of folk there on Thursday.

As for relocating, it's a rally one purpose for all, paaarrrrttttyyy! Make friends with ya neighbours and mingle with all, rather than just with those you already know

After having my tent dragged across the field last time I'm pitching it once this year! Can't wait now first freedom in 3 years! T is going Friday morning so going early Thursday so he gets to have some time there. Be good to see you all x

On the subject of alcohol. I heard somewhere,from previous,that your not allowed to take in your own cans or spirits ?

My understanding is if they see you with excess bring your own they will confiscate it.
Think they turn a blind eye to a couple of cans.

Was also rumoured they did a bag search.
Don't get me wrong I wouldn't be sat in the middle of the main event,with a can,like in your face. I would also purchase from the bar too. It's just nice to have an intermission by your tent,with a can or two and get primed and loaded before the bands come on. Also saves on a bit of coin.
