The array is basically the group of drives that work together as one (Or however you configure it). If one breaks, the others can rebuild the data (Again depending on how you configure it) and you can replace the drive. Once replaced it all re-syncs. The problem is when the array becomes corrupt... i.e. Data starts to get scattered everywhere, drives fail... the whole thing goed turds up
i think its when someone is trying to access a file thats not available coz of the corruption - must hang the server.
Its been worked on this weekend, but i know that the first hard drive replaced was rejected
You should have got an exact time zone, how long will it be off for, are we not getting an email first?
If the Yanks are working on it it could be any time, they have several time zones.
