What a diplomat
I don't mind really so I'll see what the majority view is and then see if I'm free to join in. As I said, I'll be doing the seaside thing anyway at some point but maybe just a couple of us if there is no further interest from anyone near me.
I have to cross a lot of 't's and dot a lot of 'i's before I can make it out with or without my kids so I'll just fit in where I can.
If anyone fancies Stratford-on-Avon though I could do that with minimal organisation - it's just up the road lol
Why anyone eats prawns at all is beyond me, let alone heating them up. Yuk!
Could you make it chicken next time please, and a little more warning, then I'll be straight over! Needn't worry about JP eating it all, it's probably too exotic for his old man's palate
Ok folks just to clarify as it seems to have gotten confused in typical BM fashion
The idea is to get as many pilly seats filled from all areas with folk
off BM who may never have had chance or been brave enough to ask for a
pilly. Bearing in mind this will be the first time some of you guys
have met, and the point is to get as many folk out as possible
Its a day ride out not a camping weekend, if you guys want to sort that out on a different thread fill your boots :)
So with that in mind
Sunday 25th July meet up at Matlock at 12 noon
Riders and Pillys from Middle Earth to meet at Bassetts Pole at 10.30 to leave at 11.00 am
I will set up a table to match folk off as it were , if u want to offer your seat or request one either post here or PM me
Come on folks lets get them seats filled
Could do with folk from other areas sorting a central meeting point for them
At some point FT, a few of us will be going to Brean/Burnham but for now this is being organised as a Matlock pilly ride affair. Will let you know when and hopefully you'll be able to join us and bring some from down your way.
Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later but will have to be good weather, don't fancy the seaside in the rain.
Can i suggest people round here meet at Squires it central and easy to find, pillys should be able to leave there cars there and its an easy run from the A1/ M62 down the A19/A60 and across on the A619/A632.
I won't be able to do this as i'm helping to organize a cycle race that weekend, but i'm sure you'l have fun
