timeout and bj- been looking at my nicholsons canal guides and i think birmingham is prob most likely for a canal ring do-able in the time. Got guides covering 'brum and heart of england' and 'severn, avon and brum' if you got any Q's. But best bet is ringing narrow boat hire companies and asking their advice about best routes
