If anyone needs any advice including liasing with the licensee on the cask ale issue please contact me. I'm a former landlord, hold a license to sell alcohol, have been awarded the cask marque for my real ales, and will be going back to running pubs later this year. I know the trade and cellar management inside out and am happy to contact the venue on behalf of BM if required. Lager is not an issue as it can be dropped and put straight on but casks could be a problem if not enough is stocked. In respect of settling the beers for sale, on stillage, as mentioned, a couple of days is required. However, if the cellat used the float or spear system iinstead of stillage you can get away with it earlier. Even so, still requires some settling.

I'm defo one of those enthusiastic Ale drinkers but I'm also doing serious research on flavours, colour, smell & quantity my body can enjoy before I crash & burn LOL

Come on folks, only 5 weeks to go till this one. I know I sound like a stuck record, but no-one is getting in without a ticket to this one and it is pre-pay only so you have to get ordering from the events page. Those attending the Rock N Bike this weekend will get another taster of the great time we have when we get together (should they need one lol).
As far as I know Harry, neither myself nor BJ will be at the Welsh ride-out and nor is JP so the answer is no unfortunately. You could pay at the Rock and Bike this weekend if you were going, but not sure what else we're likely to be attending before the Rally.
