Orrible snotty-nosed kids not being supervised by their parents and attempting to wreck my stall... then being caught out by the same 'orrible kids with 3 at one end and 1 at the other. The single one was attempting to steal a phone charm, so while I was occupied with taking that back off him, the other 3 were stealing zippo style lighters.
OK, so I shouldn't have had lighters within reach of kids, so it's my own stupid fault (bit tricky when you're only working from 2 tables in a car park though - pushed back from the front, but apparently not far enough). Fortunately, there's no gas in them, so at least there's not much chance of the brats starting a fire someplace
Didn't notice until packing up that 3 had gone missing and the kids were long gone by then. Mind you, even if we'd have caught them, the parents probably wouldn't have given a toss anyway. Ho hum!
I put the cheap rubbish at the front of the stall, precisely because I know that I'm going to be thieved from, but it still winds me up when stuff goes. Especially when it's orchestrated and I'm purposely distracted by something else going on. I've had entire families at the distraction game... Wouldn't surprise me in the least if the kids weren't praised by their parents for learning how best to go about thieving.
Funny how they always wait until I'm alone on the stall too Very wise too, cos if I catch them at it, it'll be bad, but if HE catches them at it, it's going to get very messy indeed.
Wish you could do that Wannabe!! I caught a wee shite up the side of the garage so i pulled him out and kicked his arse......Fair enough...........3 Months later I get lifted and charged with assault......Copper said to me "DON'T WORRY I TOLD THE KID OFF" F****ing great he gets a telling for busting fences and being in other folks back gardens and I get charged with Assault for looking after my property.........WTF!! Where is the Justice in that?? So if you catch the little gits be very carefull cause the law aint on your side !!!!!
Oh I know that well enough Nanu... but with a bit of luck we'll go down for both the brats and their parents - make the assault charges worthwhile
The Police threatened to do one of my doormen when he had a hold of one of the sprogs who'd just wrapped a bit of 4 by 2 round another doorman's head.
I talked them out of it, so thankfully he wasn't charged in the end but they just let the kid walk off. Unbelievable. No wonder they think they can get away with everything. They can and do.
WB & Nanu , i know you are talking about pre-teens and maybe slightly older , i honestly believe a form of national conscription should be applied in the UK for school leavers ...partly in the armed forces and other locations ie. policing , health or education , its a means of learning a bit of discipline and self respect while earning a wage , i may be shot down in flames over this ...but it never did any harm in countries that have the system in force . ???
good call exc, some discipline.....would not do anyone any harm, when i was at school , which was a hard inner city manchester school, if we forgot our pe kit it was instant slipper !!! never did us any harm...

really cant believe it, someone ive seen often for the last nearly 30yrs and hes seen my children,done all my antenatal care.Makes you realise that these people just blend into society like everyone else and we may form opinions about people who look or act a little odd or even down right weird but it just goes to show that you really have no idea of who you can trust and if we cant make a judgement with yrs of life experience what chance do our kids have?
it was all photos of young boys, feel bad about this but my 1st reaction was thank god i have girls, dont think they were photos of patients it was all downloaded stuff from what i can gather, he also did some work at the hospital looking after children with allergies, everybody round here knows where he lives hope hes done the decent thing and got out of the area. apparently child porn is graded 1-4 with 4 including photos of penetration which he had on his computer
That is truly sickening Julie, I'm sorry this is someone who has held such a trusted position in you and your families life.
Was going to say, lets hope the line was drawn at pictures but then thought of the poor children that must have been abused for these pics to exist.
