Cissy I have just finished my 3rd term as a school governor at secondary level and can tell you that local authorities are cracking down on schools and bullying after quite a few incidents reported in the press lately. And i personally hate it. Ask the school for a copy of there anti bullying policy and behaviour policy, both should be sitting in a folder in the school office and accessible by anybody. If i can help you in any way regarding school politics PM me

I had two erm incidents at school, 1st year seniors there was a wannabee bully decided it'd be funny to kick my school bag accross the floor (he was an amiture boxer junior level) I shouted at him not to do it and he squred up to me, I told him to piss off with that he opened up a can of whoop ass on me reigning blows in I did not even know existed lol, I did not feel any of them either he was a paper tiger or my temper and adrenaline had blocked out the abuse he was giving me lol, I made a grab for his throat caught him by his blazer and held him at arms length (I had a longer reach so he took to verbally taunting me!) BIG mistake in my anger and frustration, I landed a wild swinging right hand onto he nose which promptly spattered blood every where lol. We were both taken in by the teachers who arrived just after my blow landed for fighting. I got off lighter even though his injuries were more pronounced. The 2nd time was his mate and the "cock of the school" one wet lunch time decided it'd be fun to take my very itchy black and amber scarf that my mum had knitted me away, thing was I was not about to let go no matter how hard it was pulled at I refused to let go so for the last 10 mins of the lunch brake he decided he'd use a pin on my wrist and kept pricking the flesh but i just did not let go......... The bell rang and everyone got up to go accept me and the bully, he said all I had to do was let go and he'd give it back, I did and from that time on I had no problem with anyone else! The moral is just stand your ground as hard as it seams! My daughter was also victim of school bullies I went to the school and the ring leader was excluded till end of term! Hope some of that helps Cissy!

So sorry to hear that Cissy xxx

I was bullied for years at school...now I know it is very hard to believe but I was a lanky stick thin girl who towered above everyone including the teachers....but this gang of lads made my life hell in secondary..I was quiet and shy and wouldnt have said boo to a goose!! The bullying was constant...I was always injured..I would NOT fight back...

One day...I just snapped...apparently I went after this gang..knocked down all the library shelves...ripped off the boys toilet door...broke one of the lads arm and one of the others nose...

I only came back to earth when I heard this teacher Mr Smith shout "Miss Stephenson my office NOW!!" being an ex army type teacher I about pooed myself and though OMG Im going to be suspended...my parents will kill me...etc etc...

He closed the door behind me and smiled...shook my hand and said " those lads have had that coming to them for a very very long time...well done lass!!"

I about fell over with shock...but it did teach me one thing that Im a large person and the damage I could inflict was amazing...Ive never had to hit anyone since..needless to say no one ever ever bullied me again!!!

bullying was rife when i was at secondary school worse than primary, common practice was taking dinner money of younger boys, one day i fixed one of the local hard nuts push bike he had heard i was good at adjusting 'derailer gears!! nxt thug who nicked me dinner money got a fist in his stomach! so doing a favour for the local 'hard'family had paid off,no more nickin of my dinner money!! bit like the Shawshank redemption was my Secondary school!

Why are the van lights flashing, if it's electric inside house and not street lights? If it was me I'd have got me coat on and gone out and asked them to turn the ers off Next time you're in Boots the chemist, or any other shop that sells them, get yourself an eye mask, the sort used when travelling on a coach/train/ plane. I'd lend you mine but it's too big for the email box
