Hi GP, need to juggle a few things before I can confirm.
But going on the assumption I can make it, I was thinking A49 - A6 on the 19th (thursday) as far as the lakes (or just after) camp up, then a nice ride in on the Friday on those lurvly roads they have up there.
Did you have any ideas on a route?
I make it about 600 miles for you (on a Monster) ouch :-)

up date thank kati bobkat as the campsite will not give us a guarantee for pitch for our tents as we have a high number we will use the big campsites as we will all get on them and the ones who is coming for the weekend only will get on too this is definite the campsite we will be using 1 2 3 1 glen nevis holiday park fort william fri 20th to tue 24th can book it 2 broom field campsite ullapool tue 24th to fri 27th no need to book 3 glen nevis holiday park fort william fri 27th to 29th july can book it fort william will help the ones who is going home down south

Nice to have you back Jim Kawkgirl you mentioned before that rather than going back to Fort William you might go to Skye - did you find any good sites? as that might be an option for some who aren't in a hurry to get back down the road. Glen Nevis campsite has very strict policy on curfew/noise so keep that in mind when you are there or they WILL kick you out

well reports ive heard say they really dont give a toss about noise as it takes them 2 days to deal with any complaints! lol we not exactly a noisy lot anyway...........much! ....us geriatrics are all in bed by 10!
