PS.. the carpet tiles are being placed down as I type! They've already done the stairs near the back toilets and were doing the area near the coffee bar yesterday, they've gone for a deep red/purplish colour apparently and there's no plans to change the backrest seating as apparently it was only replaced 3 months ago! ( I think it was cloth and replaced by the red vinyl stuff that's on now)
Good to know Dave 'The Law' is keeping to the plan!
I hope to God that they do something about the raised seating area at the bottom end, when Stu n I sat down there a couple of weeks ago, it was disgusting, torn, ripped and filthy. Yuk!
I have a bit more faith in 'The Law' than i did in the fabulous Jasen! So hopefully by 2015 things will be looking much better and perhaps the number of bikers attending will go through the roof again, just like the good old days!

Not saying i didnt get on with him, just saying his organisational, man-management and people skills are severely lacking. He let a very successful operation begin to flounder and he made very little attempt to rescue it. You only had to look at attendance levels to see that there were problems, nevermind looking at how run down the place became and the quality of the staff.
I was extremely wound up last year when sorting out two events there on behalf of BM he totally n utterly got things wrong n i had to almost jump up n down before he got his finger out n attempted to resolve the issues, in a fashion! Not ideal when taking bookings n not listening or disregarding what the client has said on several occasions not only on the phone but face to face.
'The Law' is much more switched on and is actually starting to make headway into the massive job he has taken on. He has already proven he has business n people skills with other ventures.
I wish him every success and fingers crossed things are gonna fly in 2015.
