Be lovely to be assured of keeping warm and dry but we're tenting a will be joining you tomorrow - now that I've recovered my bike keys from being trapped under the top-box rack! will be good to see friends, old and new, again.
If I come up for the week . The bike is very very definitely going on the trailer. I'm gonner be a 'car driving, bike trailering ,fair weather biker pouf'.
oo oo oo I can see blue sky . That'll do for me . p.s. If I do bring the bike on a trailer ; recovery charge £50 payable in advance [xk] @ Steve H, as for being a girt wuss how the fek can you go on a camping holiday in a hotel, you even girter wuss lol AND AND parking your bike on it's side in a river does not detract from the supreme wussiness of hoteling it , rather than the manly pursuit of tenting. Mind you , if it pi55es down all week . I'll be in the lodge too lol.
Mixed weather riding up today but brilliant when the sun was out. No wuss excuses! We've been given the shed to garage the bikes under shelte. Come on peeps, get yourselves up here.

That's me and Danny safe home. Thanks to all for making it another great holiday, am really keen to do a touring one next year but will be saving pennies for B&B or glamping instead of taking tent. If anyone wants a pitstop on the way home you'd better get here early or ride with Mandy and Carol as we're going to the border with them - maybe with a scenic detour if time permits.
another fab week, over 1000 miles done, road trip to skye, durness, tongue, john o groats, inverness, fort agustus, in all weathers, fab time in the live music bar in inverness wednesday with martyn, topped off with a ride on the rib tour yesterday, fab folk old and new faces...hope everyone got home ok and unscatched....ps pete hope u get home ok,
Was good to have your company 75, since there's a few faces still down as guests for the event who failed to show (shame on you all). Great to catch Richard too right at the end- glad the week ended on a high for you.
Done my miles for the week: 156 on Sunday - getting there 173 on Monday - to Plockton and Kyle 0 on Tuesday - the day after the night before! 322 on Wednesday - to Applecross and then Ullapool 154 on Thursday - just a short trip, Aviemore and up Cairngorm 157 on Friday - getting home (good eh?, just 1 mile difference from the outbound journey)
Total 962 miles of smiles, laughs, beautiful scenery and fantastic company. Ticked all my 'holiday' boxes.
Just returned from a great week in Scotland, all the BMers were a fantastic bunch who time the time to show us the delights that Scotland has, thanks to you all. If you've never been then you are truly missing out
