Because the Night.
Now I've got this by Beki Bondage and I know it's a cover so I had a look into this and Bloody Hell what a can of worms this one is.
Patti Smith Group released it first in 1978 but it was wrote by Bruce Springsteen and given to Patti Smith who seems to have changed some words and there are some great rows in the internet about who done what.

I'm a living result, I'm a man who's been hurt a little too much

I've Lost You - Elvis Presley, not Costello!

Heel y'ho boys, let her go, boys
Bring her head round into the weather

edit: wondering if that one is too ambiguous & not in the spirit of the game, so here's another.

Tonight I feel so weak
But all in love is fair

Extra brownie points & Custard Creams if you get both!

Steve Harley, Cockney rebel. Come up and seem, make me smile

Slight cheat as this is the 4th line of a topical song, the first lines are a give away

Only going forward 'cause we can't find reverse.

Star Trekkin' - The Firm

Dancing in the Moonlight was King Harvest and Toploader covered it.

I was beamed aboard the starship Enterprise
What I felt what I saw was a total surprise
I looked around and wondered can this be
Or is this the start of my insanity

Ps, The owner glasses i'm wearing in my latest picture is the singer of this band.
