Thanks XK - I'll look into it. Scary thing is there probably is a Camping for Dummies already!! Can one rely on one to show oneself how to sleep properly whilst camping?

Rachel, Having seen Cassie and Mark's TeePee... that may be the answer. Loads of room to stand up etc (whilst balancing on the airbed) and a simple one-pole (or I suppose a Russian or Czech would do) in the middle. Then there's the pots and pans, stove, blah blah blah... The Bandit was a Pack-horse by the time Stella had off-loaded her stuff as well!!! You'll love it.

I have a feeling as I will have panniers by the time farmyard comes round darling you wil not be so much of a pack-horse next time round, & with luck & a lot of healing ... I may even make it on Vinny (everything crossed)

Don't be soft Shell, I rode to the BMF one year with three broken fingers on my right hand lol!! Admittedly, stopping did hurt.

No one mate, I got hit by some paper. A pallet full to be honest! Landed on my hand crushing and breaking my fingers. But I'd paid for my ticket and I'd recently got a new bike so was wanting to ride it to Peter-bog-horror. So being young and foolish, out came the scissors, off came the splints, on went a load of elastoplast and off I went to the BMF. I taped the splints back on when I got back home, but ever since my knuckles have clicked loudly everytime I make a fist. I'd like to say we've all done it, but that's probably not true!

I bet your doctor had no sympathy for you ! we sometimes forget paper is wood and wood is heavy , but a pallet load uh uh ...bet you wont do it again in a hurry .

Pots, pans...stove!! on a bike!! I'm no liking the sound of this. I saw the pic of the bandit and it was indeed looking like a pack horse. I like the look of those 12 man tents with the internal bedrooms and full size double airbeds, can I have one of those please?

I'm a bit concerned that my girlfriend is interested in a 12 man tent at all! Now a 12 woman tent I'd be up for!

You're gonna need 12 woman to put it up and take it down and maybe Hulls hearse to transport it !lol

Rachel ... No wonder he went to wash his hair with that comment (maybe a 12 man tent for Rachel & a 12 woman tent for Geoff is whats needed) Excalibur ... Hull sold the hearse at the farmyard I think a specially adapted trailor would be the only hope for all the home comforts required.
