Aaaah, the benefits of a ten hour sleep!
Thankyou to everyone for their really nice messages!
Frag... I too have been a moderator on a very busy, fraught internet forum, so I totally appreciate what a hard, thankless task it can be at times. At no time have I questioned that. I have questioned why when I find a post offensive, and reported it as you have said, I was told that if it didn't offend one certain person, then I should stop 'whinging and complaining'. That has never been answered, and as you say, I do let bygones be bygones.
Life is way too short to keep going over and over the same thing (no matter how much it is prettied up and hidden in a different question)... I did not need to read that post yesterday, as I thought I had done all I could to prove that I just wasn't interested in any nastiness/back stabbing/whinging/complaining (delete as necessary).
I actually am loving this forum/site on the whole. Already I have made some friends who are soon going to be RL friends too... I love the banter and the comedy that goes on. THAT is what keeps me here... I certainly have not signed up to 'cause trouble and then disappear'. When left alone, I am non aggressive, peaceful and calm.... BUT I will not and cannot tolerate injustice and totally unecessary back stabbing and moaning. IF anyone has issue with me, then send me a message, or...... meet me face to face... and say it to me, not on a public forum!
frag understand a mods lot is not an easy one as said by C650 the post i mentioned was flaged and then not dealt with i am not a great lover of intolerance or injustice and the onus on the forums has been to blame the newbies. as previously said the subject is just repeating itself we all stand equal on the site [apart from squadron leader matt bandits at 2'oclock chocks away] why bandits prefer an XJR1300 myself [hi 2 wheely] sorry i digress. so time to let the subject die hopefuly with lessons learned the main one in my opinion is welcome newbies and be tolerant while they find there feet.
