Its still in the events for this weekend WN. was just a chill out weekend for anyone to go along and have fun. very little on here gets organised a year in advance. There all lovely people on here WN. i have no doubt that you and your young lad would be very welcome to the next whenever that might be. Perhaps an earlier one for next year and then a later one. maybe May and September.
hey WN you and yr kiddies would be more than welcome 2 kids and campin, we certainly are gonna organise at least one hopefully two events next year. I went but didnt take my kids, at 16 and 20 they didnt want 2 come camping with their mum. madmum and lezg both took thier kiddies with them and all the children enjoyed themselves. We all looked out for the children there, it woz like going away with one huge family

From wot i saw on saturday, small tents aint the way to go cus you won't get everyone in it. The bigger the better plus a gazebo and large bbq, bmx track, waltzers, disco. And something to keep the kids occupied too would be good.
I disagree with you blues, I woz there the whole wkend, you only saw an hour or two of the kids and mostly from the inside of a caravan awning. the kids had a brill time, kids dont always need all the stuff u mentioned, or big tents. The kids had their bikes, toys and the freedom 2 go round the site in safety with plenty of adults watching out for them.
All we needed to do know they enjoyed themselves was to look at their happy smiling faces

I think you took wot i said the wrong way drob. I wasn't saying they were bored. I know they all had a great time. must have been the way it came across.
now now dont get in a pickle . I've got a big tent but thought i'd have to be on me bike. but thinking about dont want to ride that far with 7 yr old on back i'd be nervouse reck by time i got there
i'm glad the weekend went well its going to turn into a rally if your not carefull ! will keep an eye out for next year
