anneka56 @ 28/06/2010 23:22

Errrr dunno how long, but was longer for some than for others...and I was definitely tail-end charlie. Thanks to Bill for finding a hole underneath the 8 foot chain link fence so I wasn't forced to attempt climbing it Also thanks for dragging me along the track and for not abandoning me when I begged to be allowed to die

I broke off a bit of donut to be nice to one of the chickens and while I offered it with my right hand the b*stard thing nicked the donut out of my left and ran off!

What an absolutely brilliant weekend!!! Beautiful place, brilliant company and bikes!! what more could you ask for? :o) The farmer and his wife Linda were spot on, lovely people, as were their friends and the other campers. I checked on a couple of occasions to mek sure we werent mekking too much noise... and we weren't ... Must try harder next time!!! ...lol kidding! ... so tuff luck to all the other sites that wouldn't alow us to camp on their sites...and are now begging for us .......... their loss!! The waterfall campsite was beautiful too.. and you can have real fires there, approx £6-£7 pp pn, might be worth looking at for the odd night.....ohhhh and it probably WOULD be odd with us lot there!!lol The swim in the water at the end of the falls, was just what the doctor ordered... then a lovely meal in a pub garden while we dried out .. awesome! Shaz ( Bat ) .. I'm impressed with your level of fitness getting to the top of those steps in Barmouth and actually beating a certain fit lad...you go girl!!! ;o) I have done a fair bit of 'yomping' this weekend.. must've done at least 10 -15 miles along the beach on Saturday...then Sunday night walking back from Barmouth..... i should have thighs like Arnie.... hang on.. I HAVE !! lol. Think we was the last ones back, at about 1am?!? you lot must have been trapping, cos we dint catch you up, certainly was an experience.. walking along the beach, at that time.. really windy and cold, think ive got pneumonia now.. even tho a certain fit lad gave me his tshirt... lol Then the same as you, Minnie, we were climbing over fences and yomping thro the dunes.. before finally getting back 'home' ... Was brilliant.. just like a bunch of kids!! :o)) Jackie and Yamma thank you for doing the breakfasts, was great. and much appreciated! Di.... the cake was scrummy as ever..and 'egg free' for the albino dwarf buddy, you're a star! Mark.. thanks for bringing me a breakfast back from the cafe, slight bit of miscommunication going on..typical fella!! ;o) pmsl Vanessa.. JP looked a little toooooo comfortable in that dress.. i dread to think what he had on underneath?!?!? Bill.... yours were the only stockings/long socks I saw.. and I must say how very dashing you looked in them!! :o) lol Those of us that stayed Sunday night.. we had a brilliant morning over at Portmerion .. even tho some F***ing *&?>$$" on the toll bridge wouldnt move and my poor car thought the bridge would bend and move as i tried to squeeze past......... Nope! a nicely scraped front bumper!!! ahh well.. adds to all the other knocks and scrapes! And .. even more reason to get my bike test done! That was an incredible place too.. so eccentric. Well I hope you all had a safe journey home. I got caught on the M60.. a lorry was on fire apparently, and we dint move for an hour or so.. was so frustrating as i only had 2 miles to go!!! grrrrrr eventually got home about 8pm.. a 6 hour journey.. got in .. med a cuppa.. and fell asleep while the kettle boiled!!! lol Thanks again to everyone that organised it.. a special mention to Drobs.. so sorry you couldn't make it .. hope you are making a speedy recovery and I'm sure another Barmouth is on the cards very soon, we will make sure you get there hun!!! The photos are brilliant.. I'm laughing again as I go thro them...absolutely top weekend!! BM'ers Rock!!!!!!!!!! xxxxxxx

Has anybody managed to find any info reagrding the Albino Dwarf situation ????

Brummie Jackie @ 29/06/2010 12:48

After much Googling I've come to the conclusion that you just don't get albino dwarf humans, or none that like to be filmed anyway. So we may have disproved Rule 34. You do get albino dwarf hamsters though, so Richard Gere should be happy.

I agree with <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:City><st1:place>Gary</st1:place></st1:City>, after extensive research I have come up with NO evidence that albino dwarfs exist, never mind take part in ............ <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> I have uploaded a few pictures myself now, nothing great, just a few sunsets and the half a day at the waterfall <?xml:namespace prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /><v:shapetype id=_x0000_t75 stroked="f" filled="f" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" o:preferrelative="t" o:spt="75" coordsize="21600,21600"><v:stroke joinstyle="miter"></v:stroke><v:formulas><v:f eqn="if lineDrawn pixelLineWidth 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 1 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum 0 0 @1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @2 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 0 1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @6 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @8 21600 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @10 21600 0"></v:f></v:formulas><v:path o:connecttype="rect" gradientshapeok="t" o:extrusionok="f"></v:path><o:lock aspectratio="t" v:ext="edit"></o:lock></v:shapetype><v:shape style="WIDTH: 17.25pt; HEIGHT: 12.75pt" id=_x0000_i1025 alt="Thumbs Up" type="#_x0000_t75"><v:imagedata o:href="http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/forum/rte/images/smiley20.gif" src="file:///C:\DOCUME~1\STUART~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\msohtml1\01\clip_image001.gif"></v:imagedata></v:shape><o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Once again what a fantastic weekend :))<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Forgot to say thanks to all, especially Jackie for lumping my swag up there, yam for paying for my parking, and <st1:City><st1:place>Gary</st1:place></st1:City> for the ice cream, thinks I owe a few drinks now <v:shape style="WIDTH: 12.75pt; HEIGHT: 12.75pt" id=_x0000_i1026 alt="Smile" type="#_x0000_t75"><v:imagedata o:href="http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/forum/rte/images/smiley1.gif" src="file:///C:\DOCUME~1\STUART~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\msohtml1\01\clip_image002.gif"></v:imagedata></v:shape><o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> I will remember in future to go to a cash point first lol<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Only thing that ruined it was being disqualified from the duck racing, I think just like football, we need video replays ...
