Here it is;

And this battle of egos;

My bad, this was the one that went on for ages;

Banksy well known around Bristol Area,Gloucestershire too...many councils would now love to have his work adorning their patch...ironic or what? :)> AND...Great links,many a laugh with those,mille grazie,Big C.

Very Ironic, obviously an earner with the tourists.

Some of his art sells for massive amounts now, there's also a thriving market of Banksy fakes that have sprung up. A load of gormless hoorays with more money than sense have been stung when they thought they were buying a Banksy. In that crowd there really is one born every minute

I'm not a fan of graffiti as such, but I do like the cheeky ones like the ones in those links. Just spraying your name(tagging) on a wall is idiotic, I don't see the point in that at all. In old run down places where someone does a decent mural, I don't have a problem with that either, but I'm not up for them damaging people's property like some of them do when they tag the side of somebody's house.

I can remember seeing a documentary in the early 70's about the band Family, painting the end wall of a terraced row with a huge artwork of a Red Indian Chieftain's profile,gorgeous colours and a real uplift to the (very run-down) area...often wondered how long it took the local council to order it removed...??Maybe it's still there?(doubt it..lol)

Where was that? Maybe there's pics of it on the internet.

There was a bloke not far from me that had a massive fish on the roof of his house, the council tried forcing him to take it down. He also had a few tanks and armoured personnel carriers he used to put massive figures on and drive about. He had a 7 foot pig in a police uniform mounted to his tank, with a banner that says, "We're not gonna take anymore stick off the old bill"

Google "Norbury Marlin", loads of stuff about him and his exploits come up. He was well famous for ages, the council and his neighbours weren't so impressed with him, but tourists flocked to see his house. LOL

That's brilliant, I wouldn't mind doing something like that here. Maybe with what looks like a crane that has fallen over and landed on my roof, dunno what everyone else would think though, lol.

Blackadder was brilliant, I still watch the repeats even now when they show them on the telly. I downloaded all the episodes of The Young Ones a while ago and watched those again. They were good, but I don't think they aged well, not like Blackadder has anyway. I think The Young Ones are too era-specific, same thing with Rab C Nesbitt when I downloaded those last year.

Blackadder is timeless, just like Only Fools And Horses.

A text msg from my daughter ...

"She said my sinuses are all clear and open, she stuck a camera up my nose"

It wasn't the content of the text ... more me reading it in her indignant voice. Oh the joy of giggling about her having to suffer such an indignity!

I've just watched a clip on the internet where a bloke is going to rob a little bloke at a ATM and the little bloke says no and beats the crap out of the robber.

Treated myself to some seafood tapas and turned my back for 2 mins and the cats have dug in! Pity party for one. Now what's going to soak up the wine?!

Watching a 'chinless wonder' in a Mercedes Convertible trying for ages to fit in a space big enough for a Mini,succeeding,then realising he can't open the door far enough to get out either side..pmsl..:)>

Turning a corner in Cirencester Tesco carpark to find some eejit in a Mini had reversed RIGHT THROUGH a 4ft wall into the road behind,and was doing his best to dislodge a large block jammed under his car by going forward and back,dragging it along the underside of the car....almost as funny as Thursday morning..a 13 foot high railway bridge arch,half filled with 15 foot tall articulated lorry...bet that's HIS Xmas bonus gone...AND they had to cancel trains whilst the bridge was checked for damage...got to laugh..:0>

At the belief I could really depend on others!

Was supposed to be getting a week off from caring duties and I'm now getting last minute excuses , cancelling my own plans and upsetting the one I care for.
F***ed off so yes , I did laugh out loud!
