One of my brake/running lights went two weeks ago - it is one of those fancy sealed units with a ring of red LEDs on the outside for brake/rear light and an amber bulb in the middle for the indicator (which still works). First off, the unit itself costs just under £300 but I am getting it done under warranty anyway.
The thing thatreally sucks is that the part won't be in the UK for another two weeks and then will need to be shipped to me.
Can you believe a bike has to be off the road for five weeks to replace a bulb?? Just rang their Customer Services and told them I was less than impressed.
If the bike wasn't so fantastic to ride I would seriously be considering swapping over to Victory next year....
Ian it is no longer a wink..it got changed to a nod for the purpose of being a friendly introduction or acknowledgment..nothing more nothing less...if they pm your LC then that would be the time to be annoyed...
nods and winks, winks and nods........take them however you feel you want to i guess, you dont have to respond if you dont want to. There are lots of folks on this site that have found wonderful partners and still maintain a social link here.

I still get nods and PMs sometimes. I usually just reply and point out I'm attached. Everyone apologises and says they didn't spot it. One or two have sent 2 PMs in succession, the 2nd saying they'd just spotted I was attached. I'm sure the odd one is just trying his luck though but let them.
it was no one wn, and my good lady can look after herself.......but those who said its a freindly thing may be wrong too, after all it is still a dating site too, and without a nod i would never of been lucky enough to meet LC.....so i am glad i could nod too !!!!
