Wasn't that supposed to have happened in 1918? The great war, the war to end all wars, just became 1 to WW2 and we've never had global peace even after that. We're doomed and it's all our ain fault!

Do you expect the government to bail out the entire nation over the basic economics of energy cost? (Oo, err, getting a bit political but try to keep it to economics)

izzyhill @ 26/08/2022 08:10

I don't expect them too but unfortunately there are those who seem incapable of saving a few pennies and think Sky TV or cigarettes or pubs are a necessity in life.. Having said that most (not all) people had the opportunity to fix for at least a year in July, so those that didn't have rather brought it upon themselves..

On a lighter note..

White bread or wholemeal with all the bits?

Strom67 @ 26/08/2022 12:05

Have you ever fell over guy ropes while camping?

Roughrider02 @ 26/08/2022 22:14

Yes, often my own and not necessarily when drunk 🙄

Sunday morning ride out for a full English or a lie in to allow for Saturday nights intake to pass through and a Sunday afternoon ride for tea and cakes???

   Update Reply
Strom67 @ 27/08/2022 18:09

Lie in is usually Saturday and usually also no excess to "pass through" on Sunday, so Sunday morning ride for whatever.

Do you know CPR?

Corey Parker Robinson is an American actor but I've never met him......

Tea or Coffee?

   Update Reply
Strom67 @ 29/08/2022 00:32

Both. I'd be hard pushed to give up one and only ever have the other.

A long weekend based at one place in Scotland or a full week moving on every day (or two)?

izzyhill @ 04/09/2022 20:25

I'm up for either, thanks for the offer Izzy🤣🤣🤣

Just so long as the stops aren't under canvas 🙄

Euro tunnel or ferry to cross the Channel?

   Update Reply
Strom67 @ 05/09/2022 01:16

Ferry, and not across the Channel, across the North Sea! Have no interest in any of the hassle around either Folkestone or Dover and way less that around Calais. We're off Newcastle to Amsterdam next week and may even be using Ireland as a route to Spain next year (unless fuel and everything is still ridiculously priced).

Cameras on your bike or just make memories?

   Update Reply
izzyhill @ 05/09/2022 19:30

Just make memories with an occasional camera photo at stops....

Chilli or Curry?

   Update Reply
Strom67 @ 09/09/2022 10:35

Chilli is my favourite but I eat more curries due to the different flavours.

If you're having a curry, do you have a plain naan or a flavoured one?

   Update Reply
Ragnar @ 12/09/2022 16:50

Plain for me, but Danny prefers peshwari and I'll have a hunk of that quite happily.

On same theme, do Thai and Malay curries count for you?

   Update Reply
izzyhill @ 12/09/2022 18:38

Thai fine for a change.. Never had a Malay?
