Always keep an eye on the mirror 1) to check they are there. 2) I am always worried about getting rammed if I have to stop or slow down

Do you scream abuse at midges or do you just quietly slap yourself in the face

Hipotomuse @ 18/04/2023 21:50

I tend to avoid Scotland in the summer months as I remember the midges being the size of light aircraft.. Fortunately we don't get too many down here but I do detest the little sods.

Fancy showroom or trawl through Bike Trader for your next machine?

   Update Reply
Strom67 @ 21/04/2023 07:28

Next bike will probably be from a dealer

But this is the process I go through. Start with auto trader and Ebay if anything takes my interest I take the registration number check the mot history using .Gov DVLA which can throw up some interesting issues regarding milage

Then I go to any of the buyanybike sites use the registration to see what they will offer for it. This way I get an idea of what the dealer would likely have paid for it.

And after that I buy the biggest pile of CHARACTER I can find 🤪

Lock your helmet to the bike or bash small children over the head with it
