I am with you completely on that one Emzed.

Two years ago I got a lot of support from BM'ers at one of the hardest times in my life.

I have been a member since 2009 and a Mod since 2010, I have organised loads of events and helped as many folks as I could on the way. Being a Mod leaves me in the way for good and bad words, most of the time I can shrug off the bad but even I have my limits. If any of my exchanges of words with other members over the last couple of days has annoyed, upset or made anybody dubious about renewing their subs, I whole heartedly apologise.

I wouldn't worry Jackie, particularly if you're referring to the thread I think you are.

Getting back to the subject.............

Freeview TV........... I have been off the last few days not well, flicking through Freeview, doesn't seem to matter what time you do it, it appears to be permanent adverts.

. . . the fact that there is no 'like' button on the forum boards . . . I read something good but can't acknowledge it, unless I come in right underneath . . (ooer)

You could try copying & pasting the post BttB Then adding a comment But asking for a "like" button suggests that you spend too much time on FB Maybe "the powers that be" will take your obvious distress seriously I doubt it though What winds me up is :- Losing my broadband connection in "mid-post"

The recent spate of infantile complaints from various members who rarely get seen participating either in chat or in the forums, unless of course they have an issue with the way the site is run.
I am not a moderater and that is just as well for I fear there would be only a handful of members left to enjoy BM.

Also, people pissing up my back and trying to tell me it is raining.

VirginMedia and other Customer Service folk who, when asked a direct question, give an answer completely different to reality. While attempting to reduce my phone and broadband costs I distinctly asked the CSA if I would be charged for the new modem I'm being sent, or for changing my package, and was told NO! then I get an email which states I will be charged £20 installation costs Grrr I'm plugging the modem in myself! FGS! and, altho I was told I could change my phone package I declined when it was only going to be a saving of just under £2 a MONTH, so how come they've changed it anyway??

I phoned Virgin Media and asked why the £20 charge and told them I wasn't told about the charge, altho I specifically asked, so now it will only cost £5.99 Result!
