thanks to Exup for the route (weather warning - be aware that I will be keeping an eye on the forecast as if its going to be persisting down, a good think will have to happen. I don't mind the rain, however, I generally get a good enough soaking Monday-Friday on my commute...not sure I want to do so on a Sunday....just a heads up) This is usually a really good ride out, and it's a great way to meet up with fellow BMers, new and old. No pressure, just a bunch of like minded idiots....sorry people....having a good day out.Everyone welcome...New, old and anywhere in between. We ride to slowest rider (the speedy freaks usually entertain themselves). No one left behind. If you have a 125 don't worry, just let me know so I canspeak to Exup re the route. I don't so much mind the rain...its the "tunes" from wet wet wet that I can't tolerate!! Lol ....although wishing I was lucky....aaaarrrrgggh its in my head now! Getbit out, get it out!!
RIGHT YOU LOT..... did that get your attention. good The weather is apparently going to be rain, heavy rain, and a bit more rain thrown in for a bit of fun. I know that Abel has booked a B&B in Prestatyn and there will be some of you hardy (aka daft) enough to enjoy getting thoroughly soaked (wet gear and all). So the choice is....the hardy (Daft) souls carrying on and riding round Wet Wales and those who would rather not, not.....or We postpone and hope for a dry day soon. Me personally...well I've got wet enough already this week and its only Thursday! My waterproofs are more water than proof (waiting for a delivery of new gear) atm. And yes I know I'm the organiser, but this organiser would rather see Wales in its full glorious sunny glory than shrouded in mist, cloud and rain. Let me know your thoughts and opinions of what you want to happen (and I can't now do owt about the weather seeing as you all started bloody singing!)
To be perfectly honest I would rather not ride in the rain! I used to enjoy the experience of sliding the rear tyre (when i had to!) but I have a car for a reason! I could take the chance of it not raining and still enjoy a couple of days in Wales and then be stuck inside a B & B watching the flood plane rising in Prestatyn...
I certainly would be up for a sunny day riding around Wales If I can get time off work, as I often have to work weekends..
So whats everyone doing? hoping to dodge the rain? do ya like getting wet? ..do ya? do ya? lol
was so looking forward to the ride out too... hows the weather gonna be around Squires??
Being just down the road n' all, If you live in Knottingley you should be on the nail with Squires weather, and telling the rest of us how it's gonna be!
