Well tonight is the night .... Will be headed up to the half way point tonight after I get home from work. Will be setting off from here prob about half 7 .. I am all excited !!!
Ended up staying home due to an accident that had closed part of motorway we were going to use setting off in morning and should still meet all at the gate :-)
Well looks like im first back again. where to start,oh yeah,came off bike 3 mile from event,got patched up by the guys in green(big thanks) got to event,rained like hell overnite,bed got burst in accident, so hard floor job,tent had fault in lining so ended up with wet feet in sleeping bag(tents from Asda don't buy).Rough night so made up my mind to get home.Big thanks to Shell, Jackie & RChick for making me see sense. Massive thanks to Saffie for fixing my gear leaver(now sites Mechanic and great first aider), Big Ned for taking me home,and please forgive me mate i can't remember your name but i will when someone reminds me,for riding my bike home.You guys saved me alot of pain, which i realised while sitting in Ned's car.I owe you all,hugs all round. Yes Shell i went to hospital,had x,rays on ribs n Knee,but all they found was an old fracture just below knee that had self heeled(so thats what that pain was lol). x
Reminder:Always wear protection no matter how short the journey!!
Pleased no permanent damage and you got home ok.....
got back myself about 3hrs ago,,,,,winds really bad on way home,,only averaged about 50 mph all the way home....
As for Kelso,,,,been there for last 4 yrs and dissapointed with the event this year,,,,,half the trade stands and probably half the amount of people attending!!!!Rumours already of price increase next year which will make no difference as wont be attending again,,,dissapointing for a BMF event.....
Will still visit Kelso town itself on my journey's as its a nice little town..
I was not camping with BM but showed my face a few times and there seemed to be a good turnout......

Saffie she did cut her weekend at the peaks short to come home but she never screamed once at me(there is a god lol)
Craig was wondering that too about the site ive been to the Peterbourgh BMF event which is much bigger and better,mabe they need to change the venue probably Inglstone Edinburgh would be a better place to hold it.
