I scanned left and i see a farm,is that the one?As i don't use satnav i googled the route and came to this place at first i thought they were caravan hook-ups till i zoomed in on the grave stones.Looks like a nice place ta stop for an ice cream tho.

Turn down the side of the pub onto Thorncliff Road.. and LEEK EDGE FARM is first turn on the left.
We have been allocated the field on the left.

Lol.Last time i done that Bill i map read down the wrong side of the mountain and ended up on the Ambleside,worst thing was i had to go back up to get back to the other side so now you know why ive got knackered knees,think i got that compass off "Jack Sparrow".
apart from walking it i did it one day on mountain bike from Threlkeld up by Great Dodd and along the Helvellyn ridge than dropped down to Grisedale Tarn and over to Patterdale than back up Helvellyn by Swirral Edge and down to Thirlspot and back to Threlkeld. I was a bit fitter then
