The Annual Dinner of the Horror Film Fan Club (Murder) Dinner

Dear Guests and Film Fans

Thank you and we confirm your booking for our Murder Dinner on Saturday October 29th 2011. Reception at 7.45pm, prompt please so you don't miss anything.

If you have booked for a party, please show or give your party members a copy of this letter so they know what is going on and what to expect.

We take this opportunity to set the scene and theme as it were for the evening; the theme is the Annual Dinner for the Horror Film Club and we would like you to pretend to be Members of the Club and Fanatical about Horror Films.

Please remember, once you arrive at the Reception you are not at a murder dinner, but at:-

The Annual Dinner of The Horror Film Fan Club.

Watch and listen carefully, things will start to happen from the moment you arrive at the Reception.
If something should happen and the Police be called, I'm sure they will want all the help you can give.
Do not be shy about questioning your fellow guests or especially those you think are involved. Become your favourite TV Detective, but do not forget to enjoy your dinner at the same time with the activity that is going on around you.

The theme is present time, HOWEVER we would like to introduce a FANCY DRESS theme based on
Horror Films. We would like to dress as one of your favourite characters. As an idea you could be Dracula, Freddie, Jason, the Bride of Frankenstein, the Wicked Witch of the West or zombies - the options are limitless and we will give prizes for the best dressed.

If you want to dress normal that's fine, however we are introducing a colour theme and that's - PURPLE
So we would like you to wear something PURPLE - for the ladies a PURPLE dress would be great, but just shoes, wrap or handbag will do. For the men a PURPLE suit may be asking too much, so a PURPLE shirt, tie, socks or handkerchief will do just as well. We will also be giving prizes for the best dressed in PURPLE.

It only remains for you to arrive and enjoy yourselves, Saturday October 29th - 7.45pm.
Don't forget, bring a pen and please be prompt or you may miss something.

See you then.
