Noddy if the week we had last year with Rob (pondlife) and the others then it's worth the effort for me. If we can have the weather be a bonus as it got to 29c at one point last time

Anyone else got preference to Dover or hull ?

Ok all

Pm's will be with you next day or two for where to book. Once you have booked then I'll start a new list as to who is actually going.

Once you book your ferry then i'll take it as your going I will sort Germany and i won't take any money of you until then. Holland will be free so 2 nights accommodation will cost you beer/food for barbie. 35 euros to me for Germany per night, per person including breakfast. I will only need you to book ferry and Belgium yourselves.

Pm will have all details included so any issues or problems let me know after this. I'm doing it this way as then you don't need to give me any money until we meet and gives a chance for some to bow out if needed.

I will be staying at a travelodge the night before the ferry and will be completely your call if you want to do same. Last year it gave a chance for everyone to meet in one location and a nice 15 min run to port to get on ferry.

Crossing will be Dover methinks as it has the majority by far as choice.

Anyone is welcome to use Hull as a crossing point but i can get to Germany and back all in for same price as Hull ferry alone . I can provide meeting places for anyone wanting to travel across another way also.

So Dover to Calais is my planned route

Just been on ferry web site P&O for them times: dover out on the 28th April 1015 £18.00 Return 5th May 1850 £20.00, but you can normally get on earler or later ferry's at no extar cost. Its the same cost if your 2 up. has anyone booked up the ferry yet??? and will anyone want a lift? I mite book the ferry on friday, I will be going from Oxfordshire.. I hope I am not butting in, but we all need to be on the same ferry going out.

It would be good if we could arrange a time of meeting at Dover so we can all be on the same ferry and ride up to Matts together..

Anyone have any ideas? We dont want to be getting to Matts to late..

Yep made it lot easier last year and chance for everyone to get there as some of us be doing nearly 500 miles to get to Dover alone

This is the cheapest I have found.

Medway M2 Travelodge - £19.00.
Breakfast Bag includes a cereal pot and milk, a muffin, croissant, jam portion and a fruit juice
