Well I figured if I moved to yorkshire, second best county after lancashire, I could bring my calming, more refined ways with me and educate them that think t'werking is wot you do money to Fri between 9.00am and 5.00 pm
Anyhoo, I have a very important question for the 'Biker World' ... Well its more of a grumble than a question (grumbling is what I do best!)
Why do manufacturers always flood the women's section with pink bike gear? I cant be the only female who hates pink?! Looking at jackets a couple of weeks ago, everything trimmed with pink(!) if it wasnt all pink that is!... bike boots - pink all over em... and dont get me started on helmets n gloves
See now I like pink, but not necessarily on my biking gear......have to agree, way too much pink. And why do they think women bikers are 5ft 6 and a size 0?....
1.Yorkshire has the best tea 2.Surrey makes the best T.E.A (beer that is) 3. Yorkshire might be Gods own country but he paid for his place in Hampshire. 4. The best thing about Lancashire is the county's that border on to it. 5. Why do all the motorways go to London? Cos that's where every one realy wants to be
And why do they only make bike trousers in short leg lengths!
Ask for extra long and they show you a 32 leg. That's not flipping long. That's normal. After the extra length needs dos your legs are bent riding a bike. And why the flip is the knee armour half way up the thigh?

Ah none of you know what ya talking about....LANCASHIRE TEA is the BEST so I've been told. If you don't think so you a) haven't tried it, b) are puddled in t'head. @Stuie, everything is short on you cos you are 9 foot tall!!!!! @Amanda, you forgot the every so pretty "powder blue" :-) as for the original post...I think we may have scared him!!!!!
Holy feck I can't believe this thread is still going hahahahahaha
Pink on women's bike clothing, hmm I don't mind it if its subtle, like a wee thin stripe somewhere, all my bike gear is black and dark blue at min but will need new stuff soon so likely will invest in something with a splash of vivid colour in it somewhere for a change.
Tea? Ask Mrs Doyle her opinion.. 'Go on go on go on' lol .. Irish tea is the best I'm afraid... if you come to my hoose and I make you a cuppa I swear you won't leave quickly Then again my father was a Yorkshire man and I loved his pots of tea, so perhaps I have two great makers of tea inborn in me already ....
