Hi folks, I did a long reply to the last few posts this morning but it has not gone so the abridged version is: Re restaurant, I agree, they did not mention the change in menu when I enquired but as soon as they got the deposit, things did change I do not think the menus are on the website either. I spoke to the guy who took the booking who assured me there would be glutton free on all the menus. Regarding Lindsay and the spare beds, I did message a lady member who was having an issue with her rooms to say Lindsay had a spare bed or two but the lady concerned has not got back to me so either she has decided nthise ot to come, or she has bitten the bullet regarding the costs or she has not logged onto BM since I messaged her :-( Any way, as I am still away from home, I can not forward the menus until tomorrow. I do hope this is not a problem to those who will be eating :-)
Thanks for the post Whacker, it made me howl with laughter. Was it intentional or is it a typo ... 'Glutton' free rather than Gluten perhaps it was a Freudian Slip??!

Hi folks, can not copy and paste menu for Saturday evening as it is a pdf file which is not supported on the website :-( I have tried other ways of copying it but my knowledge of computer things is very limited and I have not managed to do it. I tried typing out the menus but the send button on the forum disappeared - more inadequate knowledge, I sure some bright spark will know how to do it :-) Anyway just a few days to go to the event, remember, for those people who are coming on the friday, we will be meeting up at the White star pub from 7.30 and for those who are coming on the Saturday, we will meet up at St George's Hall at 12.30 and I will be wherever are and where we are going to on here on a regular basis. It is still not too late to come along so if you are still undecided, come along anyway lol
Whacker....try copying the text you want and then when you are in the post right click and use paste as plain text, rather than a straight copy, that may work.
I am looking at weekend options and joining you guys and gals is a potential. Does anyone know if the room share is still available? I have messaged but not heard back as yet.
Hi Talaspirit, you are more than welcome to come along to the weekend. I am sure we can sort out somewhere for you to stay (I have a couple of female members staying at my place and if you do not mind kipping on a blow up bed, I can make room for you in my living room). So consider the options, we would love to see more members visiting Liverpool :-) whacker
