yep thats right TT from now on, wait while you go to Tan hill pub and walk up to the bar and ask for 4 teas please. we are a chuffin pub not a cafe.
anyway Stella you like bike racing so live the it, instead of watching it. and you can stay off the ring road.
what bible's that then td60.
Lou, some good advice, re: the reccy ride, but thats not poss for me this weekend, I wont have time, besides im still tryin to 'master' the local roads i know first, lol
If i ride this weekend i will be spending the day thinking about the ride back..lol
so this weekend i would prefer to pilly or drive myself
Do not feel 'pressured' into riding distances/speeds you are not comfortable with.
Biking is all about enjoying yourself.
Time & experience is all you need.
There's no rush.
Yes they do serv teas & coffees that was the point.
But some times you have to be pushed out of your comfort zone to progress.
And you dont get ridding experience leaving it in the garage.
i remember posting on here last aug, id been out and got a thorough soaking, so i was asking about goretex, the point behind this is that id passed my test on the 125 and just got the cbf, could see the thunderstorm coming but did a give a hoot oh no, 1st time on what seemed like a HUGE monster of a bike i was away over the hills, and the skies opened and all hell was let loose, i was flying along thunder and lightening and i loved every minute of it, but we are all very different and everyone should progress at their own pace so you stay in your comfort zone Karey and that way you will get the most out of it.
OK folks!!!
Don't anyone hold their breath,
(but you can all please cross whatever digits you deem appropriate)
but, if he passes his Mot tommorrow morning, I'll be bringing Duke out to play on Sunday
Just hope he remembers whose idea this was
Em
Yep - spot on again XK... there's no rush at all... and you'll need to build up your confidence again Kaz - it's been a while between CBT and getting onto your own 2 wheels. It's been that long, I'll be taking lessons again if I ever sort my life out and get a bike!
There's a long glorious Summer just around t'corner and I'm sure various FFS contingent members will make it along to BM meets under their own steam when they're good n ready
was on me way but lastminute booking has clobbered the trip [cant turn away money!!] determined to make it one day oop north one day even if i end up being sacrificed in some wierd northern ritual!
