Hey all. Well am new to biking, did my cbt in May and riding round with Ls on my lovely yamaha ybr125. Although I am not able to have anyone on with me I am local to Matlock so would be nice to meet up and join in with the ride. Am happy to use any excuse to meet other riders and also build experience.
Has anyone up north thought of a meeting place?
I suggest Squires as a good meet.. I can either go on Ziggy, as long as its an L-friendly route or request a pilly please.

Folk from Brum way are meeting at Bassetts Pole (on the A446, with easy access to the A38; the Sutton Coldfield bypass and Junction T3 of the M6 Toll motorway) at 10.30 to leave at 11 for the ride up to Matlock

Hi all as BJ has said south mids meeting point is bassets pole can other area events teams get a meeting point if you have interest as you can't expect riders to go from north to mids to then go to Matlock then back then head back north again. thanks
Bill says ......Can i suggest people round here meet at Squires it central and easy to find, pillys should be able to leave there cars there and its an easy run from the A1/ M62 down the A19/A60 and across on the A619/A632.
I won't be able to do this as i'm helping to organize a cycle race that weekend, but i'm sure you'l have fun

If i tek Ziggy i will need to go the A/B roads through Glossop etc which ive done before, but i just cant remember it, and wouldn't want to do it on my own... therefore if the majority will be doing the 'fast roads' can i again plead for a pilly, please?
Any of the Northern contingent meeting at Squires, what time do you suggest?
