I found it, but it wouldn't permit me to post on it - said it was locked as nobody had posted on it for over 2 months!

did you know as long as its not a police clamp or a council clamp, ie if its a private company you are quite within your rights to remove the clamp as long as you cause no damage to the clamp, so like folk have called me out being a locksmith to pick the lock open and probably pay half the price , you will save alot of the clamping charge, but make sure you do this before calling the clamping company otherwise you will find them turning up and adding more clamps !!!!

What are you, going for detention now?! Smiley posts don't contribute to Karma y'know! Or have the rules changed on that?

Trouble is... I can't think of a rant at the mo... I'm sure something will come up before my temp upgrade expires though. I could have a pre-emptive rant about people not turning up when they say they're going to? The one day I really need the boiler blokey to show up first thing & he'll probably arrive about lunchtime.

Shut your eyes, dream of a ranting opportunity... & lo! Delivered within minutes

Today's rant is on the subject of numpty ebay buyers. Auction ended 10th December... Customer finally deemed to pay the paltry 99p today, following 2 polite reminders & an offer to cancel the purchase, as I presumed they were no longer interested.

Better brace meself for the inevitable negative feedback for failing to ensure arrival by Xmas Day!

I like to feel at home. My house is clogged up with shite all over the place, so why not the internet too?

Right up to the second I decide to have a bit of a tidy... can't find a ruddy thing at the mo!

Mind you, I've swapped one set of clutter for another... there are still bits of tinsel scattered across the carpet instead of being on something. Getting quite festive in here. Himself would HATE it Maybe I'll make up a story about my car breaking down & tell him he'll have to come fetch me?

*sniggers*

Milk is always good. Over here they drink it without. It shouldn't be allowed. A letter to Chancellor Merkal will follow very shortly. Never mind, the weathers going to warm up soon when North Korea nukes South Korea. What you playing at Kim Jong Il or whatever your name is. You short arsed fucking twat. Go and watch Team America or something.

I'm not the only one who is going to get detention, all the banter on the forums, when we've got a chat room, tut tut I reckon you should start a 'grumpy old bugger' thread Ric, then you can mumble on there about Wannabe in here

At last! After all these years bimbling about the interwebnet! I haz a stalker

I nearly put this in the sad thread... but the more I'm thinking about it, the more I'm entering rant mode, so here it is.

4 & a half years ago when Pa had his aortic repair job that left him permanently paralysed from the chest down... Ma was due to go in for her 2nd cataract operation. She canceled, cos didn't want to leave Pa festering alone in hozzie for a couple of days *insert rolling eye smiley here*

Despite constant nagging (& offers of doing all the Pa-caring duties) since, she would never re-book the operation, saying Pa relies on her too much and she can't possibly be out of action.

In the interim, she's also diagnosed as having age-related macular thingamybob, which basically means eventual blindness.

So she announces TODAY that she might just pop up to town on the train & see if she can get in for an eye check, seeing as she's got a dirty great black spot in the centre of her vision. And how long's this been going on for Mum? Oh a few weeks really I suppose. I only just did the test with the chart this morning though.

Immaculate timing Ma. & they nag ME for leaving health issues way too long? The apple hasn't fallen far from the tree Let's hope the booze hasn't been flowing too freely in the opticians... and that they're not all nursing hangovers from last night... & that they're even open today!

Do I hit the send button on my job application? Or am I going to be a 24/7 carer for the pair of 'em any minute now?!

/& breathe...

Oh P.S. I'm sure Matt'll let me off... considering I'm off again by the 28th & without my terrible bad influence, the forums will once again be banter-free
