I went through Denby Dale, New Mill to Holmfirth at teatime. Fog was so bad I couldn't see the vehicle two car lengths in front of me (even with his fog lights on).. horrid driving conditions and having to do battle with the gritter wagons flying past at speed whilst spewing out lots n lots of salt etc. It was a grand ride (not) there n back in less than two hours😞. On the other hand got a beautiful circle of black rubber for my daughter's bike. Thank you Stuie !👍
It's now snowing in G-Town, not sticking though. Yay! 😀
Lots of snow flurries, really cold and that wind is vicious, trip up the M6 earlier was dodgy with crosswinds almost blowing me off the road in exposed parts.
Lol, Cat I should have said exposed stretches of the motorway. Had to put bird feed on the ground cos poor little blighters were getting catapulted off the feeders. Snow settled here now.
Gale force, -4°C, snow with an underlay of ice. Not really biking weather. Even the car had all four paws scrabbling to get me home. It's gotta be summer soon. Hasn't it?
