Sandi you don't need a tax disc to prove that a vehicle is taxed it's on a database yes you can still be done for failing to display a tax disc but that is a technicality and doesn't involve crushing It's very unlikely that you will get caught on a bike unless you park outside a police station??

tax disc if you can proof you have applied for it by either an online application and this needs to be applied before your last one ran out and you carry it with you
or some other means ie: reference number with proof they have received it then no problem.
if your tax disc has not arrived within two weeks you need to contact DVLA

Well it's for sure we won't make it now, we have picked up Kevs bike (Ian riding it) and it's still windy, we ate going to get Kev back on it to get him home again with us riding with him as he is still a bit shaky
